Patience

Over the last 2 or 3 months we have, as a church, been working through the Fruit of the Spirit as written about in Galatians:

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

Galatians 5:22-23

Pastor Jeton has been preaching on each attribute individually and Ilir also preached on love at the end of May. Patience was one attribute that Pastor Jeton took three weeks to cover and was a very timely topic as we transitioned from the old church building to a new one.

This week we might finally be able to move into the new church building which is now 95% ready after weeks of rennovation.

The progress made on the main meeting room/sanctuary:

Two extra rooms for training courses and a prayer room:

A children’s room:

The back of the main meeting room:

There is still a lot of work to do to get the building completed but we can finally see the end of this two month test in patience. As a church we have big plans for this new space and the leadership have a renewed energy and enthusiasm for the regular weekly activities and extra meetings and outreach projects.

As a church we have been able to raise over 1,000€ from weekly offerings as well as another 2,000€ from the crowdfunding page we set up to help with the extra cost of the rent. This is so encouraging and a real answer to prayer.

One verse that was shared with the church during this transition period will go with us into the new church:

“‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’
declares the Lord Almighty.”

Haggai 2:9

Thank you for your prayers for Kisha Rilindja e Kosoves over the past two months, it is an exciting time and will be a challenge for all of us as we settle into our new home, but we are thankful to God for His provision and perfect timing.
